Đối tượng Thư mục được sử dụng để trả về thông tin về một thư mục được chỉ định.
Để làm việc với các thuộc tính và phương thức của đối tượng Thư mục, bạn sẽ phải tạo một thể hiện của đối tượng Thư mục thông qua đối tượng FileSystemObject. Ngày thứ nhất; tạo một đối tượng FileSystemObject và sau đó khởi tạo đối tượng Thư mục thông qua phương thức GetFolder của đối tượng FileSystemObject.
Đoạn mã sau sử dụng phương thức GetFolder của đối tượng FileSystemObject để khởi tạo đối tượng Thư mục và thuộc tính DateCreate để trả về ngày tạo thư mục được chỉ định:
